    We study the interface between Regge behavior and DGLAP evolution in a non-perturbative model for the nucleon structure function based on a multipole pomeron exchange. This model provides the input for a subsequent DGLAP evolution that we calculate numerically.     A Kinematically Complete Analysis of the CLAS data on the Proton Structure Function F2F_2 in a Regge-Dual model

    The recently measured inclusive electron-proton cross section in the nucleon resonance region, performed with the CLAS detector at the Thomas Jefferson Laboratory, has provided new data for the nucleon structure function F2F_2 with previously unavailable precision. In this paper we propose a description of these experimental data based on a Regge-dual model for F2F_2. The basic inputs in the model are nonlinear complex Regge trajectories producing both isobar resonances and a smooth background. The model is tested against the experimental data, and the Q2−Q^2- dependence of the moments is calculated. The fitted model for the structure function (inclusive cross section) is a limiting case of the more general scattering amplitude equally applicable to deeply virtual Compton scattering (DVCS). A perturbation technique is used to determine the two dimensional velocity and three dimensional electromagnetic field and current distributions. Finally, the generated power, the ohmic losses, the effective power and the electrical efficiency of the converter system are calculated

    Fundamental and harmonic emission in interplanetary type 2 radio bursts

    Three interplanetary type II radio bursts which show two prominent and long duration bands in their dynamic spectra were analyzed in detail and compared to similar bands in meter wavelength type II events. These bands, which differ by a factor of about two in frequency, were interpreted in terms of fundamental and harmonic emission. The fundamental component has a greater average intensity than the harmonic, due largely to short intense brightenings. The fundamental spectral profile is more narrow than that of the harmonic, with harmonic band typically exhibiting a larger bandwidth to frequency ratio than the fundamental by a factor of two. The fundamental has a larger source size than the harmonic, 160 degrees versus 110 degrees, on average, as viewed from the Sun. Two of the events have source positions which correlate well with the associated flare positions
